On a bright summer Saturday in New York, we the petite girls have to hang out around town. The warm weather urged us to wear clothes of lighter material. Camila and Lana are best friends, so they chose to twin in the Nolita Polo Dresses in khaki and pink.
The West Village constitutes the western portion of the Greenwich Village neighborhood in Lower Manhattan. In West Village, we found our favorite photo background – chic doorsteps and apartments in bricks of earthy tones, all found in quaint narrow streets. These photogenic backgrounds are super Instagram worthy and are only found in NYC!
We enjoyed ice cream from Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream. The ice cream shop is located in East Village, famous for its gourmet ice cream made from innovative ingredients. A little extra calorie is okay for the summer I guess? But we shouldn’t have too much because petite girls want to stay slim!
A visit to Chelsea is always fun because the neighborhood is packed with good restaurants, bars, galleries, popup stores and more. The Highline sprawls from North to South through the Chelsea district alongside the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Chelsea Market, and the Chelsea Piers on the Hudson River.
Before going up to the Highline, we needed some more food for extra energy to explore the city park. We sat down at Giovanni Rana Pastificio Cuicina where they serve authentic homemade Italian pasta.
We came to the final stop at the picturesque spot of New York City – the Highline. As a linear park built on an abandoned railroad track, the Highline has attracted countless visitors since 2014. Camila and Lana couldn’t wait but to pose for a picture or two. Fun fact about the Highline – many plants are indigenous to New York, so the eco-friendly Highline is not only attracting tourists, but also birds that are indigenous to New York.
Camila and Lana are twinning again, but this time in the Madison Blouse and Soho Skirt. Bright and fresh colors are the best for standing out in the crowd. We are petite, but we are not low key!
So this is how us petite girls spend a day in the city with the New York based brand Petite Studio. Once you find the right clothes to wear, a lovely person to hangout with, and the best food to satisfy your craving, happiness comes easily! Stay tuned for the next petite girls diary!
