There are few things I don’t have enough of more than tuxedo jackets. I want so many in my life, it’s maddening. I need the perfect black wool version (damn you J.Crew for not making this one in petite because I would have owned that shizz so hard by now), and then there’s the white with black trim “be careful or you’ll look like a waiter” version. But at least now I can cross exquisite velvet off my list thanks to this cutie from Petite Studio NYC.

A jacket like this is so great because it can go in so many different directions. I went the ultra-casual route because that’s what I do, but imagine it with white jeans, a white tee, and luxe navy suede sandals/pumps. Or over a little black dress. Or maybe some leather skinnies. Or a crisp collared shirt and some smoking slippers.

I’m wearing size xxs and my measurements can be found here for reference. Petite Studio NYC also has a sale going on right now, so be sure to check it out.
