In case you didn’t hear— we had a trunk show! And it was pretty amazing if we do say so ourselves. The view of Manhattan was great, there was rosé flowing, dessert being eaten (courtesy of Rose and Basil), people admiring the flowers (thanks Popup Florist!) and of course oohs and ahs at our collection.
We wanted to put together a special event for our lovely supporters to be able to experience our line in person. We love having an ecommerce site, but we felt like we should let the people see and feel our brand in person.
And did the people see!
We gathered at Manhattan View with some pretty notable people in the fashion world for our very special occasion. Refinery 29’s fashion market editor Alyssa Coscarelli was there! So was Taste the Style, the editor from Fashionista Karina Hoshikawa and Cliché Magazine’s editor in chief Megan Portorreal also made appearances.
That’s not it. Some of Petite Studio’s favorite bloggers came to support us as well like Cindy Wang from When in Doubt, Soo Kang of Brown Eyed Toast, Ivana Kordic and Waikei Tong.
Creating a physical space for our supporters felt like a great opportunity to connect with everyone in person. We do so much of it over social media and receive messages saying they are so glad we honor petite women through fashion. We want to thank each and every one of our followers and the people who came to check out our trunk show. We feel so proud to have created a brand that serves an under represented market. Power to the petites!
