Petite Studio Fit Report: Round Two
The Tulip Pants
“I’m seriously obsessed with these pants. I feel so cool when I wear them. I’m practically as short as they come so when I find culottes that are actually cropped and don’t look like I’m drowning in them, I get excited.”
Jeanine, Public Relations and Branding Manager
5’0 tall, wearing size XXS in the Tulip Pants
Mei, Graphic & Digital Designer
5‘5 tall, wearing size XS in the Tulip Pants
“These pants are so comfy! I love how high-waisted they are on me and how they are actually cropped. It’s funny because I’m the tallest in the office, but I still have the same issues of finding pants that aren’t super long. Also, it has pockets! Who doesn’t love pants with pockets?”
“Like Jeanine said, I’m seriously obsessed with the Tulip Pants. Finding pants that fit me perfectly can be such a chore, but these hit me in all of the right places.”
Sidney, Public Relations Intern
5‘5 tall, wearing size S in the Tulip Pants
“I feel like I’m walking straight out of the set of Clueless in this set and I love it. First off, it’s so nice having a mini skirt be an actual mini skirt. Second, the Blazer looks so tailored for once. Usually jacket’s arms tend to be way too long on me even if they fit everywhere else.”
— Sidney, wearing size S in the Dionne Blazer & Skirt
“Who doesn’t love a matching plaid skirt-jacket combo? I can’t tell you how great it is to find a skirt and jacket that actually fit nicely around my waist. And like Sidney mentioned, having the arms not go past my fingers is a total win. I loved wearing this outfit.”
— Mei, wearing size XS in the Dionne Blazer & Skirt
“This is as mini as a mini-skirt is going to get on me unless I bought children’s clothes, which I’ve totally done before. I think the best thing about this outfit is also the arms for me like the other girls mentioned. I have quite short limbs so finding jackets that don’t go way past my hands is so difficult to find, which is why I was excited to see a few jackets like this one in the new fall collection.”
— Jeanine, wearing size XXS in the Dionne Blazer & Skirt
“I feel like you can never go wrong with a classic, white jumpsuit. Again, this outfit hits in all of the right places. It has a relaxed, cropped fit while still leaving room for my boobs and butt. The tie helps cinch in my waist as well to show off my figure more. What more could I ask for?”
— Sidney, wearing Flora Pants, size S
“Jumpsuits are especially hard for a petite body. It has too many places it can go wrong, but I love love love the Flora. It hits me perfectly above the ankle and isn’t too low in the crotch area. Then the waist tie just brings it all together. I also love the looser fit, which isn’t too baggy for my liking. I think it keeps it more on trend and cool.”
— Jeanine, wearing Flora Pants, size XXS
“I feel like jumpsuits are hard for any girl to find, so I was excited to see this fit so well once I tried it on. I have pretty long legs for my body so the fact that the crotch area didn’t go up too high, especially when I raise my arms, was awesome! I also just love how feminine the jumpsuit feels without being too tight. Plus, I can layer it over a turtleneck come fall and winter!”
